The following is from Warren Provencal with Shadetree Films:
Rounder has been previously made into a short film and has done rather well on its own. If you picked up the collaborative effort between myself and Ty Schwamberger, Cake Batter, then you have seen the short film (or will Soon as you receive it in the mail).
Now I have the completed script!
I have assembled a crew!
We are ready to get the show on the road!
Please do what you can and spread the word. Remember, whatever you can do will help!
If I do not reach the goal then this project will not get the funding it deserves.
(Note: if it does not reach the goal you will not be charged).
There is a rewards system built in so you can get back a little something for every level you can afford.
It’s a great way to support independent filmmaking and it gives back to you as well.
Please follow this link and give what you can. Check back periodically to see how it’s going.

Can’t wait to get this started!
Thank you all,

There are still some seats left in the class I’ll start teaching in a few weeks at the University of Akron (Akron, Ohio) – ‘So You Want To Be A Horror Writer’. A description of the class; including cost, classroom location, dates/times and how to enroll can be found here.
Adam P. Lewis recently had two short-short stories picked up for the upcoming Anthology – Daily Bites of Flesh 2011 (tentative release December 2010). One of the stories, ‘The Pond’, features charaters named after my fiance’, Sheryl, and myself. I’ve read the story already and found it quite good – even though something not so nice happens to me during it.
As you know I had a film showing/book signing last weekend. There are still plenty of DVDs of Cake Batter available (see below post on how to order), but I also have a few (6) copies of Night School that I brought back with me. The first six people that email me will get it for only $15.00 (that’s 10-bones off the cover price). Shoot me an email (address can be found under the Contact page to your right) if interested.
My short-short story, ‘Hunger’, was recently picked up to be included in the upcoming Anthology – Daily Flashes of Erotica 2011. The story, which has a stong erotic overtone, also has an element of ‘horror’ weaved into it.
The expected release date of the Anthology is December 2010.
Cake Batter has officially been released. If you were one of the fortunate ones to Pre-Order the DVD prior to 5/13, your order will ship as soon as you pay for it. For those of you that have yet to order the DVD ($10.00 + shipping), you can do so by clicking here. Shadetree Films will begin shipping all orders, soon.
Enjoy!
Jessy Marie Roberts and Myself will be Co-Editors of an upcoming Anthology that will be published through Pill Hill Press during Fall 2010.
Fem-Fangs is an anthology of short stories (1k-7k words), allowing readers to delve into the alluring lore of the female vampire.
To read more about the project and/or to submit a story for consideration, you can check out the official Call For Submissions on Pill Hill’s website or by visiting the posting on Duotrope.
Good Luck!
I’m back home (actually I got home around 4pm yesterday but ended up passing out for 12 hours so I wasn’t able to post this until now) from my film showing/book signing that took place on Saturday at the JR Clarke Public Library in Covington, Ohio. I can’t thank enough the library staff and all the people that came out to see me. In fact, at one point during the afternoon a group of about 20 people pulled up chairs and it became a fun question/answer type thing. Great times. Below is a photo of me at the library courtesy of my fiance’, Sheryl.
After the showing/signing at the library, I made my way over to Around About Books in Troy, Ohio. Great store that has a ton of well-organized books (two floors worth of them). If I didn’t have other places to be I could have spent hours combing the shelves in search of treasure. It was also the first time I got to meet the owners in person and just as I expected they were nice as could be. I left 6 copies of my novel there to place on their shelves.
After the event and stopping at the bookstore, I then spent the next four hours eating and drinking with a buddy of mine that I haven’t seen in years. Good stuff.
Then it was back to the hotel where I poured myself a drink, watched a horror movie on tv, and let the day slip away.
Can’t wait to do it all again…now back to the coma I was in…
Tomorrow I’ll be at JR Clarke Public Library in Covington (near Dayton), Ohio, from 11:00 – 2:00. My short film, Cake Batter, will be shown at 11:00 and followed by the actual book signing at 11:30 – 2:00. A quantity of 25 copies of my novel and 15 DVDs will be available for purchase. Each will be sold at $15.00. You can also bring in your own copy of my novel, magazine, etc, for me to sign as well. Night School bookmarks will be given away for free. You can read the official Press Release here.
Should be a fun event. Stop by and say hello if you’re in the area (and possibly a few drinks and laughs later that night)!
If you live around the Piqua (or greater Dayton), Ohio area and don’t already get it delivered to your doorstep, run out and pick up a copy of the Piqua Daily Call. Today’s newspaper will feature an article/interview/press release in anticipation of my film showing/book signing at J.R. Clarke Public Libriary in Covington, Ohio on Saturday, May 15th from 11:00 – 2:00. Click here for details on the signing.
Update: You can check out the online version of the article here. (though, this one does not include the photo of me that is in the print one).
