My short-short story, ‘Future Hall-of-Famer’, was recently picked up to be included in the upcoming Anthology – Daily Flash 2011: 365 Days of Flash Fiction.
The expected release date of the Anthology is December 2010.

There are still some seats left in the class I’ll start teaching in a few weeks at the University of Akron (Akron, Ohio) – ‘So You Want To Be A Horror Writer’. A description of the class; including cost, classroom location, dates/times and how to enroll can be found here.
Adam P. Lewis recently had two short-short stories picked up for the upcoming Anthology – Daily Bites of Flesh 2011 (tentative release December 2010). One of the stories, ‘The Pond’, features charaters named after my fiance’, Sheryl, and myself. I’ve read the story already and found it quite good – even though something not so nice happens to me during it.
As you know I had a film showing/book signing last weekend. There are still plenty of DVDs of Cake Batter available (see below post on how to order), but I also have a few (6) copies of Night School that I brought back with me. Call For Submissions
Jessy Marie Roberts and Myself will be Co-Editors of an upcoming Anthology that will be published through Pill Hill Press during Fall 2010.
Fem-Fangs is an anthology of short stories (1k-7k words), allowing readers to delve into the alluring lore of the female vampire.

The Results
I’m back home (actually I got home around 4pm yesterday but ended up passing out for 12 hours so I wasn’t able to post this until now) from my film showing/book signing that took place on Saturday at the JR Clarke Public Library in Covington, Ohio. I can’t thank enough the library staff and all the people that came out to see me. In fact, at one point during the afternoon a group of about 20 people pulled up chairs and it became a fun question/answer type thing. Great times. After the showing/signing at the library, I made my way over to Around About Books in Troy, Ohio. Great store that has a ton of well-organized books (two floors worth of them). If I didn’t have other places to be I could have spent hours combing the shelves in search of treasure. It was also the first time I got to meet the owners in person and just as I expected they were nice as could be. I left 6 copies of my novel there to place on their shelves.
After the event and stopping at the bookstore, I then spent the next four hours eating and drinking with a buddy of mine that I haven’t seen in years. Good stuff.
Then it was back to the hotel where I poured myself a drink, watched a horror movie on tv, and let the day slip away.
Can’t wait to do it all again…now back to the coma I was in…
Film Showing/Book Signing – Tomorrow!
Tomorrow I’ll be at JR Clarke Public Library in Covington (near Dayton), Ohio, from 11:00 – 2:00. My short film, Cake Batter, will be shown at 11:00 and followed by the actual book signing at 11:30 – 2:00. A quantity of 25 copies of my novel and 15 DVDs will be available for purchase. Each will be sold at $15.00. You can also bring in your own copy of my novel, magazine, etc, for me to sign as well. Night School bookmarks will be given away for free. Novella Picked Up
Bad Moon Books had several works up for a Stoker Award last month, including the novella, The Lucid Dreaming by Lisa Morton, who won the award.
Now, they have picked up my very tentatively titled novella, Dine-n-Dash, for publication in early 2012.

Fall Writing Class
As you know, you can now enroll in the class I’ll be teaching this summer at the University of Akron (Akron, Ohio) – ‘So You Want To Be A Horror Writer’.

In addition, the class will now also be offered during the Fall semester. The class will have the same weekly format, times, costs, etc. The Fall class has a tentative start date of September 14th and will run for 5-consecutive weeks. So, if you can’t make the summer class for whatever reason, here’s another chance to join in the fun later in the year. You can’t enroll in the Fall class as of yet since they are doing enrollment for the summer, but I wanted to put it out there so you can mark your calendars now, so you don’t go off and plan a late-summer vacation or anything like that. Besides, what’s better than spending time inside a classroom when it’s warm and sunny outside, right?!
