I mentioned a few weeks ago that I’ll be featured in the Artist Spotlight section in eight local northeast Ohio newspapers, as well as, an online edition. You can pick up the following papers at grocery stores and the like – The Tallmadge Express, The Cuyahoga Falls News-Press, The Stow Sentry, The Hudson Hub-Times, The Twinsburg Bulletin, The News Leader (Nordonia area), The Aurora Advocate and The Gateway News (Streetsboro).
If you don’t live anywhere close to one of the above communities or would just like to check out the interview online you can read it here.
First, the bad. Yesterday, I lost my ‘day job’ so I have to start looking for something to do inbetween my writing. So, to quote Melvin from The Temptations on the song Ball of Confusion…
And the band played on.
So, round and around we go.
Where the world’s headed, nobody knows.
Now, the good.
I mentioned here about North Coast Voice Magazine doing an article and review about Night School in their ‘Hot Off The Press’ column. Today, the ‘hard copy’ of the issue is available all over NE Ohio and also can be read online, by clicking here.
First, I would like to say that I hope everyone had a Safe and Happy New Years!
From the work I did at the end of 2008, this year should be pretty exciting. As you know, I have many interviews lined up, book signings, conventions I will be attending, etc. Last week, I also submitted quite a few new short stories to various magazines for them to review and decide if they wish to publish. As I did last year, I will be making 2, 3 and sometimes even 4 posts each week with news, events, etc. So, I hope you enjoyed your 2008 and look forward to the beginning of another new year…here’s to you! Thank you for all your support in 2008 and beyond.
Below is this week’s edition of…Macabre Friday…enjoy!

Strange but true
As a side note, I heard from the publishers of Werewolf Magazine, who will be including my short story, ‘Thirst’ in this month’s issue. It should be available for purchase in the next few weeks. Once I know for sure, I’ll provide a link for you to check it out and buy it if you want it.
And remember, if you haven’t picked up Night School yet and wish to do so, you can always click here to find out where to purchase it.
Oh, one last thing…a book trailer for Night School is coming soon…(but that’s all I’m tellin’ ya about it right now)
With this website having over 2,400 hits in a little under three months (which isn’t too bad), I think it’s silly that only 50-some people (hint hint) have posted a question or comment on this page. Why post a question or comment, you ask? Click here to find out why it may benefit you to do so.
Speaking of Free Stuff, how about some Free Bookmarks of Night School? If you want some, click here to learn how to request them.
And if you want something to put that Free Bookmark in, visit the Bookstore to buy the book.
In other news, I was recently contacted by a local (alternative) newspaper here in Cleveland, Ohio. Though, I am not going to give the name of the paper until all the details have been ironed out (hint: you can find them in those metal boxes on street corners) I will tell you that they have invited me and Night School to be featured in their Feb. 4, 2009 issue. More to come…
